Bookmark or Share- Clothing Collections - GrowNYCOur goal is to provide New Yorkers with opportunities to divert clothing and textiles from landfills for reuse and recycling. Accepted materials include clean and dry clothing, paired shoes, linens, handbags, belts, and other reusable textiles.

- Community Gardens - GrowNYCGrowNYC has built more than 160 new gardens, including GreenThumb community gardens, gardens in public housing developments, daycares, and senior centers, and our urban farm on Governors Island. We build about ten new gardens a year and do renovation projects at an additional 25 spaces.
- Compost - GrowNYCEstablished in 2011, the GrowNYC Compost Program made composting second-nature for all New Yorkers by operating residential Food Scrap Drop-off sites and partnering with community composting facilities to make compost locally. The Program ended in May 2024 as a result of City budget cuts.

Greenmarkets supports farmers and preserves farmland for the future by providing regional farmers with opportunities to sell their fruits, vegetables and other products at our open-air farmers
