Bookmark or Share- XDS and Increased Traction Settings 2019 Golf RSorry to thread jack. But is there any long term reviews about the increase traction setting on a golf r? I’ve seen different threads through out the years. But it seems most ppl leave it on for a week. Then revert back to stock, mostly because of reduced mpg’s. Any failures on the haldex unit?
- Mk7 R stutter/hesitation WOT throttle - GOLFMK7I had a slight misfire with my car so I decided to replace all 4 spark plugs and ignition coils which fixed the problem. When I took it for a test drive, it drove really good but whenever I give typically 60% throttle there is a stutter/hesitation. Happens more when the car is in a higher gear...

- Supercharger on golf r? | GOLFMK7 - VW GTI MKVII Forum / VW Golf R ...From my testings, Golf R Stage 1 without launch control accelerates 0-60 same as a GTI Stage 1 (As long as it grips) (I get 6 seconds on Golf R and 6.3 on GTI) - With Launch Control on Golf R I get 4s or better sometimes! I know a supercharger (if it worked) would drop this down to ~5.3s or less. The Story on why I care: (You can skip this part)
