- Apex or GHL | Reef2ReefGHL P4 hands down for me. Reliability it looks great. And customer service with vinny is great. I like that the GHL products like mitras, dosers, KHD, etc can be ran as a standalone until unlike Apex’s tridant and dos.

The KH Director is not very good at controlling the dosing like the Alk/Dosetronic.

As for the complexities of the interface. The product allows for rather complex logic and an extremely high degree of flexibility.

You will most likely have a lot less hardware issues over the long term with the GHL and almost no software crashes or glitches. Overall I would expect the GHL system to last a lot longer and be much more reliable.
