- Text message notification not appearing on watch (iPhone) - Forerunner ...But after the iOS 13 update, you have to change it to “When Unlocked” in order for your watch to show text notifications. It is a bit annoying to have to change my phone settings, but it solved the issue. Hopefully in the future Garmin will adjust their own settings to reflect the iOS 13 update. Hope that helps!
