Bookmark or Share- Garageband - MacRumors ForumsHi -- I looked but unfortunately it seems that Apple removed the Media Browser feature a few years back with Big Sur. Now, it looks like the best way to get the music into a Garage Band project is to find the track in the Music app (formerly iTunes), right click, and "Show in Finder" and then drag that file into GB.

But, unfortunately, I discovered another facepalm Apple developer decision/oversight...

- best mac for garage band? - MacRumors ForumsWell, it all depends on how professionally you are wanting to record. If you have or are planning to have a lot of hardware, microphones, and instruments, you will need more power. but if you just new one mic and maybe a guitar input, you can use just about any newer model Mac, even a MacBook Air.
