The Fürstenberg Porcelain factory is the second oldest German china producer. Older is only famous Meissen Porcelain Factory. In 1859, the manufactory was leased to private individuals and was finally converted into a public stock company in 1888. In 1966 it became a limited liability company (GmbH).
