Missed calls and texts happens all the time to my phones that are on the Textnow network. Ran the Freedompop data all the way down to between 5 and 10 mps in the last couple of days as a test. Still continued to work.

Supposedly they will still activate the sim cards that may be available at Target, but won't produce any more, since they were really intended to get ACP customers, not free 100,100,100 users.

After the initial month, the user would simply choose from one of the existing plans. My reasoning: Reason 1. Freedompop stated earlier this year that the plan was to drop VOIP.
