I have been with USAA for over 50 years and have both secondary checking and secondary savings accounts there, without any problems. I also have secondary checking and primary savings with Penfed ( PFCU ) and primary checking and secondary savings with a state credit union. Depending on who has the best rates at the time, I move money around. More @Wikipedia
