- Forums - Ford Fusion ForumI own a 2019 Ford Fusion S. At 59,000 miles, the RPMs would jump up and down by about 300 rpm when driving at a sustained 70 MPH with the cruise control on or off. When up-shifting, the transmission stuttered. The torque converter was replaced, and the transmission valves were cleaned under warranty, which fixed the problems.
