Like RangerJoe said, it it all what you prefer. I personally think that the nessmuck pattern is geared more towards butchering, skinning, and food prep (as it was origionally designed for due to nessmucks belief in using his fixed blade for field dressing and his jackknife for carving, fire making, etc.); whereas the kephart is more of a bushcraft knife, I find it more capable for a larger ...
