Bookmark or Share- Puerto Rico saltwater fishing - Texas Fishing ForumI am headed back to Flamingo next week and will have basically the same set of lures.. along with 5/0 Owner flashy swimmers and 5 inch Ignite baits. 30/50 leader is plenty unless you get into some bigger tarpon which will be a real challenge from shore.. 30 lb braid is what I normally use on 300/400 baitcasters and 3500-6000 spinning reels.

Didn’t take long.. 5 inch swimbait in sexy shad… I snagged it in the back. This one fought hard and then got sharked. Moved on around spoil island hoping no sharks around.
