- Frightened... what am I seeing here? | Toyota FJ Cruiser ForumMy manual is for 2010+ FJ's and the engines are slightly different. You'll have to pull the flywheel drive plate to access those bolts and you'll need all the torque specs. I'm sure those bolts did a number on that drive plate as well. Hopefully the seal plate itself isn't damaged as the bolts backed out and we're struck by the flywheel.
- What would cause this? | Toyota FJ Cruiser Forumcamber and toe do look off. take into account anything you've done driving other than flat road. check your bushings as well. when looking at the coilover check the bottom. had the original pos trd bilsteins coilovers fail on the wife's. coil snapped off a 6in bit like a piece of chalk at the base but caught and seated. if you didn't look close it still looked whole.

If it's an automatic trans, the service history of the ATF is very important. It tends to be ignored for a long time, until the transmission fails. You didn't mention the mileage on this FJ.
- Mod to my OEM roof rack, thought I’d share. | Toyota FJ Cruiser ForumHey fellow FJ’ers, I know it’s been done before but figured I’d share my experience with the process and links to what I used. I found the PERFECT coupler to join the two sides of the lower rack assembly. The only thing I would do differently is NOT drill the two holes into it. They are not necessary.
