Bookmark or Share- OVERLAP SCHOOLS as compiled by the Fiske Guide To Colleges 2020 Edition ...Our family considered Duke, Northwestern, and Chicago, even with its lackluster school spirit, similar enough to Penn to include them on D19’s college list. Hopkins would have made the list too but Baltimore seemed less safe than Philadelphia. The Fiske guide is a good resource but families should still do their own research for fit.

No, definitely Fiske. I use Fiske, then Barron’s. Here’s how I use them:
Fiske: The summaries are generally shorter and cover every aspect of the college experience. I can also tell what the students are like because they have SAT scores, strongest programs, academic/social/quality of life rating, etc. (and a paragraph about them).
- Fiske Guide - list of included colleges? - College Search & Selection ...BTW, I found Fiske descriptions to often be outdated as well. In fact, I sent their editor an email a few years back when they referenced Emory students having the option to watch Atlanta Thrasher hockey games, but the Thrashers had left Atlanta 6 years prior to the Fiske publication.
