During most recent call I spent close to 2 hours on the phone (mostly waiting). Talked to both Fido & then Rogers technician. Neither could identify any system issues related to my account or the new plane, which they both confirmed is active.

As a part of its acquisition by Rogers, their shared networks afforded Fido access to their 2G and '3G' networks. In addition, it was Rogers which allowed Fido access to their LTE networks in 2011. Fido customers benefitted from its purchase by Rogers more than they tend to remember.

Rogers, not Fido made the decision to disrespect the Fido users and show the hundreds of thousands of Rogers users that THEY mean more, dollars and cents wise than the Fido users do.

When making E-sim online, after restarting the phone, the physical sim-card stopped working (no network, no internet and no possibility to make calls). As it turned out, this phone does not support E-sim, therefore I need to return the previous physical sim card number.
- Re: Discontinuation of Prepaid Plans - Fido - 209953I'm in same situation. Paid $100.00 plus tax Nov.1,2024 giving my Acct. $236.00 & find out now I lose all that. Been a loyal Fido customer for many years. Customer rep says because I was on Prepaid, I get a reduced Plan. I sais I would still be offered that Plan & not paid the $100.00 plus tax on Nov.1,2024. I feel cheated & scammed.
