Prior to the introduction, a Festool rep indicated it would eliminate the need to use the 36AC with the drywall sander. However, at the show, Festool is only claiming 80% efficiency on their cyclone.

Big stuff gets vacuumed up best with the 2.25" hose, general use and Fein power floor unit with the 1.25" hose.
