Do I need a fan controller or ...Fan controllers can add more fan headers if you've only got 4 motherboard fan headers but your case has 10 slots, for instance. Otherwise you're probably fine going with whatever your motherboard has. Some motherboard manufacturers include software to edit fan speeds/curves whole in Windows. Great for first time setup.
