- Just got a job at Fort Eustis, is the area really that bad? Is ... - RedditThere’s tons of good places to live just beyond Ft Eustis a couple minutes up toward Williamsburg or toward York County. There’s also plenty just a tad south along Warwick. Yeah, south of Eustis is Denbigh and it’s hit or miss. Lots of good neighborhoods and lots of semi-sketch places. I’ve lived right outside Eustis for 16 years.

Post itself: Small compared to most bases, the primary area is all based around a big traffic circle. TRADOC is headquartered here so as mentioned elsewhere, there's a bunch of brass. PX has the normal stuff, there is a US Patriot, Taco Bell, BK, Charleys etc.

I think you'll enjoy yourself. The AIT people never seemed as dead in side at Eustis as some other places.
