Bookmark or Share- Eurostar London to Paris: booking seats for best views?It is in the same class as seeing the Channel from the Eurostar (a brief glimpse as you go through the Folkestone Eurotunnel terminal) and seeing Rochester Castle and Cathedral (as you are crossing the Medway Bridge). In all cases you need to be looking in the right direction at the right time, and know what you are looking for.

- Rental Cars and the Eurotunnel - Rick Steves Travel ForumThe shuttle trains through the Channel Tunnel from Calais are only for people with vehicles. A very small number of Eurostar trains stop at Calais Frethun station which is quite isolated and I don't know if there are car hire places nearby.
- Getting to the Chunnel - Rick Steves Travel ForumAnd, as others have said, Channel Tunnel, the bit under the water, has been corrupted by some American to be "chunnel", a term never used in the UK or France. Eurostar, for passenger trains (for a few more months until DB and others also get into the act) and Eurotunnel for car and truck trains, use the Channel Tunnel as only part of their route.
