Let's say there is a company and it's established at some certain date, say in 2012 But how to indicate a more specific date, for example, 23.04.2012? which one of these prepositions should I use? a) The company has been established in 23.04.2012 (somehow it sounds off to me) b) The company has been establihed on 23.04.2012; or

Earlier in today I was told by colleague that my usage of "since established" in sentence 1 was grammatically incorrect and should be revised to 2, but after googling it, I found the resluts showed the opposite, both are possible.
