- OEM Car Play Solution for 2016 and 2017 models | Tacoma WorldThis guy has made a custom wiring harness he ships with refurbished head units from entune 3.0 Tacoma models. The head unit and it was plug and play into my 2017 in 5 minutes and works flawlessly. OEM rear camera, GPS antenna, and infotainment screen on the instrument panel all work fine.
- Entune radio hidden menus and diagnostic screensJust thought I'd add some info to this thread. I have a 2013 dcsb with the JBL Entune w/ navigation. The above method works for me with the only difference being that the audio and the setup buttons bring up diagnostic information. To exit the hidden menu, just hold down the Setup button. Also another menu can be found by 1) press the setup button
- Anyone know how to flash the Entune system? - Tacoma WorldEntune is not as popular as iOS. So the number of people who would be motivated to put hundreds or thousands of hours into writing/modifying open source entune software would be very small. Even once you know how to modify the factory installed software, you'd still have to create software to add/replace whats there.
- 3rd Gen Entune Premium Head Unit specs - Tacoma WorldIf my Entune Premium pushes 12 watts of output power to the six speakers in my 2019 trd sport double cab how is that enough power to drive the after market 6x9's that are 90 watts rms max and 180 watts peak and the rear 6.5 inch speakers with 70 watts rms max with 140 watts peak that i am researching to install in my truck?
