Bookmark or Share- Energizer NiMH Date code... - Candle Power Flashlight ForumVirginia. May 6, 2006. #1. I just picked up a new set of Energizer 2500mAh AA batteries. Stamped on the wrapper is "01-06", which I take to mean a date of manufacture of January 2006. I also have an older set of 2100mAh with "03-05 00" is stamped onto the wrapper. I've had them for a few years, but don't remember exactly how long it's been.

It has been my experience that the high $$ lithium AA calls are no better than the $0.50 alkies in low drain devices like smoke detectors. except for the slight leakage risk in alkies. Anything that gets several months out of a battery will work just as good with alkaline as lithium cells. W.

- New Energizer e2 Advance and Ultimate LithiumThe original e2 Lithium (bluish packaging) has now been re-branded Energizer Ultimate Lithium and claims 8x longer than Energizer Max. - What is the difference between energizer max and energizer industrial ...The industrials would also be cheaper (in theory) because they'd in boxes (of 50, or 100), while the eMax would be in retail blister packs. Thus, if you're a business, Energizer would be passing on some savings because of the cheaper packaging. I suppose it could also help track whether your employees are liberating batteries for personal use.
