Bookmark or Share- Add and request read receipts and delivery notifications in OutlookApplies To. A delivery receipt confirms delivery of your email message to the recipient's mailbox, but not that the recipient has seen it or read it. A read receipt confirms that your message was opened. In Outlook, the message recipient can decline to send read receipts.

- Delay or schedule sending email messages in OutlookWhile composing a message, select the dropdown next to Send and select Schedule send. Select one of the default options, then select Send or choose a custom time and then select Send. After you select Send, the message remains in the Draft folder until the delivery time.
