Bookmark or Share- plot explanation - Why Budd buried Beatrix with a flashlight? - Movies ...But I don't understand why Budd gives Beatrix the chance to see something when she is buried alive. If he want that she suffers he could use the mace. As for myself I think he wants to give her a little chance of survive and get the possibility for revenge. Because in a scene before Budd says to Elle Driver:
- Why is the bride's name bleeped in Kill Bill Vol 1?From here on her name will not be bleeped and she will not use the sword again. Beatrix doesn't kill Budd, Elle Driver does. Beatrix snatches Elle's other eye out leaving her completely blind. It is questioned in the end credits whether Elle dies or not as she is left blind in Budd's trailer with a deadly Black Mamba snake.
