Bookmark or Share- Old Game Capture Versions for Classic Original Elgato CardI managed to find my old Elgato Card, the OG classic one, and I tried to run the most recent Game Capture software. However, it did not recognize my card. As a digital hoarder, I just looked back at my old records and found I have several old Game Capture versions that work with this card.

- HD60X captured audio completely distorted : r/elgato - RedditRemove the HDMI cabling from the Elgato Game Capture HD60 X. Run the 4K Capture Utiliy, hold "CTRL" and open the preferences. Move to the "Device" tab and try a firmware update for the Elgato Game Capture HD60 X. -> Please do not do anything else during the firmware update process! Retest after update has finished.
- Elgato HD60 S sound crackling issue? (on both OBS and DC)First - Elgato: Go to the Elgato Settings. In the "Capture" Tab put the quality all the way to "Best". This solved the crackling in Elgato itself without OBS. Second - OBS: The change above was just in Elgato but as soon as I started up OBS the crackling started again. Go to Settings - Audio.
- Getting Only a Black Screen on 4K Capture Utility / HD60 S+Hello there. I have recently bought an HD60 S+, and today when I wanted to use it, I saw that no matter what I do, the only thing that I'm getting on my 4K Capture Utility software is a black screen. It's not a "No Signal" problem, mind you. The software is seemingly getting a signal, but all it ever shows is a black screen.
