Bookmark or Share- Add a shadow to text or a shape - Microsoft SupportTo add a shadow to a shape, you use Shape Effects, and to add a shadow to text, you use Text Effects. Select a heading below to expand the section and see the instructions:
- Add or change an effect for a picture - Microsoft SupportYou can enhance your picture by adding effects, such as shadows, glows, reflections, soft edges, bevels, and three-dimensional (3-D) rotations to it. You can also add an artistic effect to a picture or change the brightness, contrast, or sharpness of a picture .
- Edit pictures - Microsoft SupportAfter you add a photo, graphic, or picture to your slide, you have many ways to enhance it—such as artistic effects (blur, glow, and more); preset styles that include a border and shading; and color and brightness/contrast adjustments.
- Add an outline, shadow, reflection, or glow text effectChange the look of your text or WordArt by changing its fill or outline, or by adding an effect, such as a shadow, reflection, or glow. Select your text or WordArt. On the Home tab, select Text Effects. Choose the effect you want. For more choices, point to Outline, Shadow, Reflection, or Glow, and then select the effect to use.
- Change the shape of WordArt in Word - Microsoft SupportChange the shape of WordArt in Word. Select the WordArt you want to change. Go to Shape Format or Drawing Tools Format > Text Effects. Select Transform, and then choose the effect you want. If you don't see Transform at the bottom of the menu, make sure you've selected Text Effects.
