Bookmark or Share- Heat/Humidity and EDS - Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes - InspireI live in Atlanta--Hotlanta, and for me EDS is at it's least during the heat. But I'm blessed to not have POTS. I do have very low blood pressure, but for me the pain of EDS gets very much worse whenever it threatens to rain, or gets cold and damp. But heat can tax the heart, so using the precautions mentioned by other people is sensible.

- EDS and Scleroderma - Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes - InspireIt is indeed odd and that's because this thread is 5 years old. The new diagnostic criteria would only allow a diagnosis of both hEDS and scleroderma if all hEDS criteria are met independently (i.e. the family history criterion can't be used) AND the person has a first degree relative who does not have any acquired diseases AND also meets all hEDS criteria independently.
