(The whole family uses these bags and I have a minor bag collecting issue.). Conclusion: all of these bags work fine; have survived many trips and some abuse. Either one - the RS bag or ebags bag will serve you well.

Then, started merging with Samsonite. Then, covid hit and severely reduced traveling and luggage sales. Then, ebags really cut back on inventory. Then, the insane clearance sales. So, I’m not surprised.

To be honest and fair, the Customer Service person I spoke with today couldn't have been nicer or more understanding and we joked about how crazy this all was!
- eBags Mother Lode TLS Mini 21" Wheeled Duffel - FlyerTalkIf you like the eBags Mother Lode TLS line, you might want to consider the TLS Convertible - essentially the 21" Duffel without wheels and about 5 lbs lighter, coming in just under 4 lbs only (22" by 14" by 9") - almost 3,300 cu. in. capacity instead, and if expanded - to 3,600 cu. in (the wheeled Mini 21" is only 2,250 cu. in. / 2,700 cu. in. when expanded.)

There's good organisation in the bag, but I would use cubes if putting in clothes. It is also possible to over-stuff the bag, so beware when filling it up for a carry-on.
