Bookmark or Share- What do you know about German 7.62x39? - AK RiflesAt one point East German 04 rounds were sealed with purple lacquer. My cases of 1973 rounds were sealed purple. My 1984 and 1985 rounds were sealed with red lacquer - at least the ones I opened. Pics of a sealed case - Heckler & Koch imported it.

I'm hooked on DDR stuff and always looking to add to my overblown collection of East German items. That DDR ammo is great. High quality, accurate and collectable. It is corrosive primed if cleaning your weapon scares you. That ammo is dated 1963.
- What does DDR M43 ammo look like? - AK RiflesI just checked several boxes of the East German white box repacked M 43 ammo I have, one box is 1967, one box is 1969, and the rest is 1980 production. I have two cases of the blister packed ammo and it is all 1984 dated.
