I shot a Long Range Pistol side match at an Annual Match once and after the first shot the cowboy running that event said "you can shoot 2-handed" and I said "no I can't" Once you get used to duelist it's hard to shoot 2-handed. - Question for Gunfighters and Duelist shooters - SASS WireI shoot both Gunfighter and Duelist (Double Duelist for me) and like the New Model with the low hammer because they are smaller and lighter. I shoot a pair of Long Hunter SS NM Vaqueros with 5 1/2" barrels and love them. No problems whatsoever in 6 years.

I have a fairly large hand and changed to short-stroked Bisleys (arthritic) and that helped a lot. Watch some videos of Doc. Roy L. Pain, he shoots duelist strong hand only and is amazingly fast.

I was one of the top Duelists, back before the turn of the century, then went Gunfighter, back to Duelist, then FCD, then Classic, back to FCD and finally FCG. Thinking about going back to FCD again. .
