I played on the clean channel with gain at 10 and the volume at 10 (full blast). I used a Fender Stratocaster Standard with TS and Fender mid-boost.

- Dr. Z Maz 38 MkII (early Prescription) - Marshall Amp ForumI found this on E-bay last week. It is a Dr. Z Maz 38 Studio Lead MkII. After conferring with the good Dr., I found out this amp is really one of the early Prescriptions and not a Maz 38. The tone stack is identical to the Prescription. Doc said that he only made a handful of these amps before deciding to call it a Prescription rather than Maz 38.
