- Has anyone found a less fragile baseing solution for the Doomsday Ark ...If 3d printed isn't your jam, my other suggestion would be a pair of brass rods. One from the middle of the base into the underside of the gun same as the fly stand, and another drilled into the rear of the chassis at a bit of an angle. That reduces torsion on the model that will break the glue on a single rod.
