For example, a form letter might be personalized to address each recipient by name. A data source, like a list, spreadsheet, or database, is associated with the document.
- Change the capitalization or case of text - Microsoft SupportTo change the case of selected text in a document, do the following: Select the text for which you want to change the case. Go to Home > Change case . To capitalize the first letter of a sentence and leave all other letters as lowercase, select Sentence case. To exclude capital letters from your text, select lowercase.

In the new document, add text you only want printed once, such as headers, footers, column headings or any other text. Save or print the directory just as you would any regular document.
