- Virtual Drive Degraded. Physical Drives OK. - DellGood morning - I have a T410 with PERCS300 controller. RAID 5 with 3 Drives. The drives are cabled. Open Manage is reporting that the virtual disk is degraded. When I look at the Physical Disks it shows all 3 as online. It lists one drive of the three though (Physical Disk 0:0) as being the Global hotspare.
- degraded virtual disk - DellI ask as the controller, when it gets really far behind, will flag the Virtual Disk as degraded. It does this to get the firmware addressed before it gets to the point of causing an issue. Let me know what you are currently at for BIOS, iDrac, and raid controller, as well as what model server and controller is being used.
