Bookmark or Share- Permanent Deer Blind | Michigan Sportsman ForumSounds like there's some interest in people wanting sleeper hunting shacks. It's not for me. Much of the appeal of hunting for me is traveling out to the deer blind and sitting all day and then back to camp with the other hunters sharing the experience, helping find and hang deer, cooking dinners and comraderie. Same with when I'm at home.

We all knew when we got back home in mid November we would have pre winter chores to catch up on and of course the Holiday, Thanks giving Christmas chaos would begin. It was so nice to get that break up at deer camp for a week And rest up before it all kicked in high gear!
- Deer camp | Michigan Sportsman ForumOur camp is in Osceola county and we purchased it 3 years ago. Basically it was a pole barn with a divider wall down the middle. We have turned one side into a bunk room/bathroom and the other side into living room/garage. Once we get running water it will almost be too nice to call a deer camp.
