Bookmark or Share- Camo vs Solids - Hunt TalkI've been mixing/matching solids & camo the last few years. It always seemed a little weird during rifle season to be all decked-out in my best camo & then top it off with an orange vest and cap. I'm full camo if hunting turkey, ducks w/o a blind or bowhunting.
- Decked... is it worth it? - Hunt TalkI just sold my 2017 Nissan Titan with a 5 1/2' bed. I had the Decked system in the bed for about a year and it worked great for my purposes. It also can handle an atv/utv on top. For securely storing anything from firearms to tools it worked great. Now, the selfish plug for it: I still have the whole system sitting in my garage.
- Sleeping in truck or tent - Hunt TalkI also just bought a "Decked" drawer system to keep my gear ready to rock and roll when I leave Thursday after work. The nice thing about the Decked system is that it gives you a larger raised platform for a bed area. But I'm debating throwing a A.R.E topper on the truck and sleeping inside the shell OR going the truck tent route.

The problem I’m up against is the yeti 210 cooler for elk hunting. I don’t know where to store it? The issue is the lid not being able to open all the way inside the low ceiling clearance of the shell once the decked system is put in.
- Homemade walk in cooler - Hunt TalkFor those of you wondering about trying a Cool Bot walk- in cooler, well it works really well. I've only used it one season but so far so good.The Cool Bot wires into a window mount air conditioner and lets the AC run colder than normal.
