Incidentally, this sentence is not natural: He is curious, if I have already finished. We need something like: He is curious about whether I have finished yet. He wants to know whether I have finished yet. I made the sentence up for the sake of the thread.

- 'didn't see' or 'didn't saw' - UsingEnglish.comWelcome to the forums. "Didn't see" is correct. The rule might sound bizarre to you, but that's the way it is. In another context, using the same rule, "didn't saw" would be correct. "I didn't saw the legs off the table", for example.;-) Not open for further replies.
- Do "drop by" and "drop in" mean the same? are there some differences?I was studying phrasal verbs, and I was curious about the difference between "drop in" and "drop by." I looked them up in the dictionary, but they seem to mean the same. From the freedictionary.com, it says, drop by: to visit someone casually and without being invited (I'll drop by at his house on my way home.)
