I met Craig Thompson at the Komiksowa festival in Warzaw, Poland, where strangely enough his book Ginseng Roots made its international debut. The hefty graphic novel has since been published in several other languages, to great acclaim, but the English edition is not due out until spring 2025. More @Wikipedia
