Bookmark or Share- CVT Transmission Issues - Toyota Corolla ForumI took my 2016 Corolla S Special Edition to the dealer on Saturday, they did not find anything wrong, but suggested a part needed to be replaced on the wheel and they would not look at the transmission until it was replaced because the tech suspected that was the source of the issue, their cost $700 ($250 for the part and over $400 for the labor).

- 100,000 mile maintenance recommendations; 2013 Corolla SHi, I've hit 100,000 miles on my toyota re-certified 2013 Corolla S purchased in 2015 with 30,000 miles on it. I have always changed the oil at 10,000 miles (and had blackstone oil labs do a baseline test on it when I purchased it and just had another test done and all looks good with the engine oil tests).

Don't get the Corolla sedan if it's not the SE / XSE trim. The L trims (ie. L, LE, XLE) still uses the last gen and old af 1.8L 2ZR-FAE Valvematic engine instead of the vastly improved M20A-FKS 2.0L in the Corolla hatchback and the Corolla Sedan SE / XSE.
