The purpose of the Games is to provide top-quality amateur competition in a wide range of activities. The 41st Anniversary of the Games are scheduled for July 10-20, 2025 at more than 70 sites in Lincoln, Omaha and surrounding communities.

- Wrestling - Cornhusker State GamesMEDALS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three wrestlers in each bracket. OUTSTANDING WRESTLER PLAQUES: Outstanding Wrestler Plaques, will be awarded in five age divisions: Ages 8 & Under, Ages 9 to 11, Ages 12-14, Ages 15-17, and Ages 18 & Over.
- Cycling - Gravel Grinder - Cornhusker State GamesThe Cornhusker State Games Gravel Grinder is a self-supported dirt road race. This means you are responsible for yourself while on the course and may not receive aid from any non-competitor at any time on the course, however stopping at any public business such as a gas station to resupply is acceptable.
- Track & Field - Masters - Cornhusker State GamesThe Cornhusker State Games Track & Field Meet runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The meet is usually hot, and recruiting volunteers for three sessions is very difficult. So, to enjoy the meet more and make it more entertaining for participants and spectators, please note our updated time format for 2025.
