- CN Hot Weather Speed Restrictions - Trainorders.comLooking at a recent CN Champlain Div. timetable, I see that on some of the lighter density lines, such as the Bedford and Rouses Point subs., speeds are reduced to a maximum of 25 MPH when temperature is in the 25-30C range, and 10 MPH temperature exceeds 30C. I did not see such restrictions on heavily used lines such as the Kingston Sub.
