Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice.

- Curieux | Allagash Brewing Company - BeerAdvocatePours slightly cloudy golden yellow with a huge pillow of white head, generous lacing. Aroma is faint, vanilla, oak, banana and lightly roasted malt. Flavor follows the nose; sweet but not cloying a touch of pepper joins the mix as does a wee bit of bourbon. Feel is light and adequately carbonated. Overall, a fabulous beer.

The body is medium, but perhaps a bit cloying for an English E.S.B. Overall, a satisfying ale - not exactly true to its style, but very good nonetheless.

No ethanol (14.9 % ABV, marked on container) taste or aroma. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
