Bookmark or Share- 奇克索人 - 维基百科，自由的百科全书契卡索人 （英語： Chickasaw） [1] 是一群生活於 美國 境內的 美洲原住民，原先居住於 阿拉巴馬州 的 亨茨維爾 （Huntsville）西部，以及 密西西比州 與 田納西州 等 田納西河 流域一帶。 在與歐洲移民接觸以前，有部分奇克索人就已經向東遷徙到 密西西比河 畔。 歷史記載顯示奇克索人與歐洲人接觸之後，開始於密西西比州東北部生活，後來並被迫遷移到 奧克拉荷馬州，也就是當今他們的主要居住地。 奇克索人的原始語言是 奇克索語，他們與 喬克托人 （Choctaws）是相近民族，在語言上相當接近，兩者皆為 穆斯科格諸語言 （Muskogean languages）的西部群。
