- GM to Replace Contaminated Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe & GMC V8sAnd thanks to contaminated 5.3L V8 engine blocks, GM was forced to create Customer Satisfaction Program N242455301. Certain 2024 Silverado 1500, Suburban, Tahoe, Sierra 1500, Yukon and Yukon XL vehicles with the 5.3L (RPO L84) were built with contaminated engine blocks. Because of this, GM issued a Stop Delivery order to dealers back on June 13.

- Another bad GM transmission in my '19 Tahoe | Chevy Tahoe Forum | GMC ...Well I bought a high mileage Tahoe a few months ago and half expect to have transmission issues. This weekend, it started shuddering when downshifting, especially when turning a corner and not stopping (guessing in second). It would slip sometimes when upshifting. And most notably, the tranny fluid was way high after sitting.
