As stated above, most likely a grounding issue. Typically, a LED lighted vehicle towing a trailer with incandescent lights isn’t a problem. However an incandescent lighted vehicle towing a LED lighted trailer can have issues.

- Tail Lights not Working | DODGE RAM FORUM - Dodge Truck ForumsLook at floorboard, above left foot, by E Brake. Look for the white cluster plug. There were reports in earlier ED's of that connection not being fully seated. In my 2015 ED, there was one white connection box, in my 2019 Bighorn Hemi there are 3 connectors there, not sure on newer EDs. Make sure they are all firmly seated.
