I could see us going for a legacy ‘mon now with Charizard, and possibly revisiting Pokémon...
- The amiibo Naming Thread! - SmashboardsCharizard (whom shall be in his purple colour palette swap): Ridley Luigi: Green Mario (although I don't think I could have that many letters for a nickname) Ganondorf: Falcondorf. But I won't do that, because the hilarity will die after seeing it once.
- I understand why we take so much damage using Flare BlitzCharizard is a heavy character so having a little extra damage isn't terrible, and having another kill option is really good. Not to mention you can catch people in rolls, which can be very hard in this game for slowish characters.
- Bowser Vs. Charizard? - SmashboardsCharizard's recovery outshines Bowser's simply because Bowser jumps like a lead brick and his Whirling Fortress is high-priority, but predictable. Charizard is also quicker with his Forward Smash, and his other two smashes are great as well. His throws are also much better than Bowser's, with a little more fling and power.
- Charizard Moveset Speculation/Analysis - SmashboardsIf Charizard's upair doesn't see some major buffs from Brawl then any potential for a decent aerial game will be at a minimum tbh. Again, Mewtwo's uair could have easily been used for charizard. Furthermore, I wish they'd improve nair a bit and also decrease the jump start-up lag for Charizard to improve his OoS options.
