Bookmark or Share- What do people have against Cars 2? : r/Pixar - RedditCars 2 (IMO) should have been a direct to dvd/home video release. Cars 1 spent so much time world building in Radiator Springs and pushing the ideas of loyalty and friendship with all of the characters that resides there that Cars 2 just seemed to have a “Caper” feel to it and felt like it was thrown together at the last minute.
