Some of the most common include:
- Use 'M' for million instead of 'm' - Meta Stack ExchangeLet us stick to SI notations. Let us use capital M for mega and small k for kilo. People not familiar with SI notations should learn it ASAP. I would have voted for Thomas Weller but he spoke against the E notation so let me write my own here with the last clause removed.
- How to pass "I'm not a robot" - Meta Stack ExchangeBasically, instead of a CAPTCHA, I can check "I'm not a robot". When I check it, it goes away and I get a spinning circle animation. I don't seem to be able to do anything afterwards; I waited a few minutes, nothing further happened. I tried with Firefox and Chrome, with and without my ISP's proxy, but it's all the same.
- What is the preferred capitalization/spacing for the name of this site ...LaTeX (actually any compound of TeX) should have a capital X. I'm neutral on the length of the dashes, and need to do more (grammatical rule) research. (What I learned in school seems to be changing.) But it should be a dash, not a hyphen. –
- Delete votes from users who later become moderators shouldn't prevent ...No, I don't (personally) believe all previous actions of a user should become "Moderator actions" (capital 'M') once they gain that diamond ♦. From 1-reputation upward, everyone on this site is earning increasing abilities to perform various "moderator actions." The whole site is based on community self-moderation.
