- Downloads - CAINE LiveNBCaine is the raw dd image of a live USB version of CAINE for NetBooks ready for USB pendrive. To install it you must have a USB STICK at least 2gb or bigger and write the command: $ dd if=nbcaine3.0.dd of=/dev/sdX bs=32K. Where /dev/sdX is the path of your USB stick (e.g.: /dev/sda, /dev/sdb, ...)
- News - CAINE LiveThe important news is CAINE 13.0 blocks all the block devices (e.g. /dev/sda), in Read-Only mode. You can use a tool with a GUI named Unblock present on CAINE's Desktop. This new write-blocking method assures all disks are really preserved from accidentally writing operations, because they are locked in Read-Only mode.
