Bookmark or Share- Is the Cabelas brand gone? - General Discussion Forum - In-Depth OutdoorsI miss the Cabelas brand too (especially the great sales) but it is what it is. I buy alot of crankbaits from Bass Pro/Cabelas and just this week bought a Quest Ulterra from there. I buy from other places as well and where I buy depends on availability and price. Bass Pro/Cabelas is generally very competitive on prices .

When we stopped there last year they had an outstanding store that reminded me of the old Cabelas. Everything was well stocked and the floor people seemed to be very well educated in what they were assigned to assist in selling.
- Pre-Packaged Jerky Seasonings? - In-Depth OutdoorsLooking for a change. I’ve never used a pre-packaged commercial type jerky seasoning, but some of the Cabelas stuff get some good reviews. Anyone got a favorite? I need a knock-out seasoning for goose and beef. Sliced, not ground. I typically like a sweet-hot mix, but not too sweet.

They have them $100 off right now. Where are they 100 bucks off ? Ya the more I looked at different vendors they were not on sale. The original thing I seen on cabelas site had them marked down from $300 to $200.

After Bass Pro ate them up, the Cabelas brand disappeared and was replaced with the Bass Pro brand. Prices were hiked across the board and the variety of selection usually found at Cabelas disappeared.
