Bookmark or Share- CABELA’S KING KAT CLASSIC - Mississippi River - In-Depth OutdoorsDo you guys know about the Cabela’s King Kat Classic that will be held in Iowa this summer? It is probably the biggest cat tournament of the year. There will be more then 100 boats at this show. A lot of your big names will be there also. The launching site is in Fort Madison Iowa August 27, 28. It should be something else.

I switched to Scheel’s online, and I’m very satisfied. The stores only have so much square footage. I only get a tiny window of time to buy goose calls, goose decoys, layout blinds, waterproof camo parkas and boat blinds.

I like to stay on top of the electronics innovations and I probably don’t need it however went to Cabela’s yesterday to check one out and possibly buy one using the large amount of points I’ve amassed. They had plenty of Vexilar’s there, from the FL8 to the FLX 30.
- Cabelas Strikes Again - General Discussion Forum - In-Depth OutdoorsFor me, Scheels has taken over for what Cabela’s once was. It’s kind of sad to go into the Woodbury (MN) Cabela’s and the ice fishing section is regulated to the old Bargain Cave with an adjacent corner area outside the cave where shelters are on display. Kinda makes the hobby feel insignificant.
